In Mother Natures Backyard!

Hang gliding is a very popular acitivity at nearby Hyner View State Park. Hang gliders take off from the scenic vista and sail out over the West Branch of the Susquehanna River.

Nearby Renovo hosts the Pennsylvania State Flaming Foliage Festival, the second weekend in October. Through the years the Festival continues to grow, attracting approximately 25,000 people.  

Located about midpoint on the scenic 75-mile Bucktail Trail in the pristine Sproul State Forest, North Bend Bed & Breakfast is also near the Susquehanna River and Hyner Run State Park. There are elk In nearby Renovo - just two miles east of our B & B, is the junction of scenic Routes 144 and 120. The two highways offer some of Pennsylvania's most spectacular views of nature and wildlife. A one hour drive from North Bend B & B on Route 144 offers the chance to see miles of blooming pink mountain laurel in June. The fall foliage views on both routes rival that of anywhere else. Beautiful streams and rich forest greenery along Route 120 from North Bend west offers spectacular views year round. Wildlife is abundant. Deer, wild turkey, eagles, elk and numerous other birds and animals inhabit the vast Sproul State Forest that encompasses both scenic routes. The Winslow Hill elk viewing area is an hour's drive from the bed and breakfast.
